Energy Manual Therapy (EMT)
Working with EMT tools gives the body permission to develop its dynamic, variable fascia down to the cellular level, from the microscopic to the macroscopic level.
What is this?
EMT is a technique that energetically works with the dynamic fascial system of the entire body. It can enhance the body's dynamic capacity to change anything. In this bodywork, we use Access Consciousness tools to help eliminate limitations, solidities, and discomforts, and create changes in the body's form, function, and ease of movement.
What does it look like?
The session usually takes place on a massage table. We begin by briefly discussing limitations, pain, scars, injuries, surgeries, and ailments. Then we move on to the hands-on portion. Skin-to-skin massage provides the best results, but we can also work through flexible, thin clothing.
We don't use force here, so while the session can be quite intense, it shouldn't hurt. The recipient is the master of the entire session, so we communicate bodily sensations in real time.
What do we work with?
During the session we can work on limitations caused by injuries, accidents, surgeries, stitches, scars, hunches, curvatures, paresis, solidities, and hardening of the entire body.
The only contraindications to an EMT session in a given area are open wounds, fresh fractures and scars, but we can adapt the session to the current condition and perform it in a different part of the body.
Releasing limitations using energy and manual therapy techniques allows the body to reorganize itself with greater ease of movement, better range of motion, reduced pain, improved posture, dynamic positioning, and increased presence .
